ATLANTA PIANO TUNING BY EAR HISTORY

Manny Sr. learned the art of aural piano tuning and repair at the Steinway & Sons piano factory in Astoria, New York, from 1965 to 1968, in the tuning and tone regulating department. Manny moved to Atlanta in 1974, where he did concert tunings for the Baldwin Piano & Organ Company. For 45 years, Manny Sr was self-employed as Atlanta's premier EAR TUNER. His past clients includedTony Bennet, Peggy Lee, Ray Charles, Liberace,
and Mel Tourmé.
Manny Sr. was one of very few aural (ear) tuners in the southeast. His gift of perfect pitch and expertise in his field made him one of the most accomplished piano tuners in practice in the United States. Manny Sr. passed away in January of 2020, We are proud that his son Manny Jr. now walks in his father's footsteps.
Personal History
Manny Jr. resides in Woodstock Georgia and enjoys a life that consists of being an Atlanta piano tuner and technician, playing the guitar, photography, golf, fishing, and spending time with his family.
GOALS
My goal is to tune my customers’ pianos to the best of my ability, and then enjoy their satisfaction and pleasure. I aspire to tune every customer's piano with precision and care. I chose this career because I love what I do.
